Come Sing With Us
Posted on: 2008-04-13 22:40:04Are you a woman who sings in the car, in the shower, or any time the mood strikes you? Then come and sing with us! Harmony Celebration sings an amazing variety of music in four-part harmony, without accompaniment, and we're always looking for new voices and new faces to share in our love of music, performing and friendship.
Don't read music? No problem! We have some of the best music educators, vocal coaches and choreographers in the world right here in our chorus to help you. The chorus learns together, with the help of audiotapes and group instruction.
Our repertoire is varied. The barbershop style of four-part, a cappella harmony lends itself to songs from almost any era -- ballads, Dixieland, jazz, swing, Broadway show tunes, pop, country, and even hip-hop! There's something for everyone's taste, from Ira Gershwin to Elton John!

When We Meet
The Harmony Celebration Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International is based in Ridgewood, New Jersey. We meet every Wednesday night beginning at 7:30 pm at the following address:

Directions to Rehearsal Hall
From Rt. 80 EASTBOUND
- take Exit 62A - "G S Parkway to Saddle Brook" and follow signs to Garden State Parkway NORTH. Then proceed as below
From Garden State Parkway NORTHBOUND
- Take the Rt. 17 NORTH exit; exit number 163 on LEFT, towards MAHWAH
- Proceed approx. 2.1 miles.
- Immediately after your third overpass, take the Ridgewood Avenue exit toward RIDGEWOOD
- Go over Rt. 17 to get there
- Proceed down Ridgewood Ave. toward downtown Ridgewood
- At the THIRD traffic light, turn left on Van Dien (church is on corner)
- Take Van Dien to Grove Street and make a right
- Go one half block and the driveway to the Temple is on the right
- Parking lot is in the rear of the building.
From Garden State Parkway SOUTHBOUND
- Take exit 165
- Go .2 mi and turn RIGHT onto Ridgewood Ave.
- Go .6 mi. and continue onto Firehouse Lane
- Then bear RIGHT onto Ridgewood Ave
- Follow as road goes into East Ridgewood Avenue
- Turn LEFT on Van Dien (church is on corner)
- Take Van Dien to Grove Street and make a right
- Go one half block and the driveway to the Temple is on the right
- Parking lot is in the rear of the building.
From 287 NORTHBOUND
- Take Rte 208 (SE)
- Exit at Maple Avenue North
- Follow Maple Avenue north to Ridgewood Ave.
- Take RIGHT on Ridgewood Ave,
- Turn RIGHT on Van Dien (church is on corner)
- Take Van Dien to Grove Street and make a right
- Go one half block and the driveway to the Temple is on the right
- Parking lot is in the rear of the building.
