Our Director
Our Musical Director Scott Brannon brings 30-plus years of barbershop experience to his role at Harmony Celebration. He has earned international recognition both as a chorus director and quartet singer, and as a coach of many groups performing at all levels of achievement, including International Champions.
Brannon most recently was director of Island Hills, a Sweet Adelines International chorus on Long Island, which he led to a regional gold medal in 1990. He is director emeritus of the Big Apple Chorus, a chapter of the men’s Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS). Under Brannon’s direction, Big Apple Chorus qualified for the BHS international competition four times, finishing in the top 10 each outing. Brannon also earned international recognition as lead singer of two-time men’s medalist quartet Cincinnati Kids, and he currently sings lead with the Our Town quartet.
When he's not barbershopping, Scott works as a singer and actor, as well as teaching theatre arts and giving private voice lessons.
